Cusco Millenary Tour 6 days

Upon arrival at the airport in Cusco our staff will be waiting to pick you up and transfer you to your selected hotel in Cusco.

After checking in at the hotel we will have the day to rest and acclimatize, optional pedestrian tour of Cusco.

At 6:30 am, our guide will come to your hotel to pick you up and start our tour of the
Sacred Valley of the Incas.

We will move to the Taray viewpoint from where we can observe the majesty of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, then we will continue to the Amaru Community where we will take a short hike.

After the welcome, the local villagers invite all visitors to the collection of flowers and leaves that will serve as inputs to make the natural weavings, then they will show us a wool shearing, spinning and skeining of wool and finally we continue with the demonstration of dyeing and fixing the color in the wool.

After the activity we will have lunch prepared with Andean inputs, then we will continue our return trip to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and head to Ollantaytambo where we will spend the night.

Very early we will pick you up to start our great adventure of 2 days on the short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, our transfer will pass by your hotel at 4:00 am to pick you up and take you to Ollantaytambo, from here we will take the train that will take us to the kilometer marker of Machu Picchu.
104, where our hike to Machu Picchu begins.

From km 104 we will start the hike to the control of Chachabamba (2000 m / 6560 ft), by a smooth path, enjoying beautiful views of the landscape where you can still see archaeological remains, and a view of the Urubamba River. We will continue our hike until we reach Wiñay Wayna (2600 m / 8500 ft), the most beautiful of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, after a few minutes we will arrive at the place where we can rest and eat our box lunch.

After lunch we will continue our hike on a flat trail until we reach the Intipunku at 3 to 4 pm, from where we can contemplate a beautiful view of the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, after a short rest we will begin the descent to reach Machu Picchu and take the first photos.

Leaving the citadel of Machu Picchu, we will take our bus that will take us to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes) to settle in the assigned accommodation, before sleeping we will have an exquisite dinner in one of the restaurants in Machu Picchu.

You can leave a travel bag at the Ollantaytambo train station to be sent by train directly to Aguas Calientes.

After a rest in the hotel facilities, very early in the morning we will have breakfast at the hotel and start our visit to Machu Picchu.

According to the time indicated by our guide we will take the bus that will take us to Machu

Picchu for a few minutes by a winding road known as the Hiram Bingham Highway.

At the control gate together with our guide we will enter to get to know the citadel better, where our  guide  will  explain  the  most  important events,  and  visit  the  agricultural,  religious  and residential areas

At the end of our visit we will return to Machu Picchu Pueblo and wait for the departure time of the train that will take us back to Ollantaytambo, from where we will take the bus to Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

The tour starts at 4:30 am approx. with the pick up from your hotel, and then take our private transportation to the southeast of Cusco, we will travel for 2 hours to reach Cusipata, from here we will take a detour through an unpaved road, until we reach our restaurant where we can take our Cusco breakfast.

We will continue our trip to Pampachiri, place where our transportation arrives, from here we will start our hike to the Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, we will hike for an hour and 20 minutes to reach the top of the mountain 5200 meters above sea level (optional to rent horses).

Arriving at the top we will enjoy an impressive view of the colorful Vinicunca Mountain surrounded by mountains, snow-capped peaks and the inter-Andean valleys of the place. After the visit we will walk back to Pampachiri enjoying the fauna and flora of the area such as llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and with luck we will be able to appreciate the Andean condor.

Once in our vehicle we will return to the restaurant where our cook will make us wait for a delicious lunch to comfort us and return to the city of Cusco, arrival approx. 5:00 pm.

We finish our visit of Cusco Andean after enjoying the best attractions of the city of Cusco, after breakfast our collaborator will pass by your hotel 2 hours before the departure of your flight to take you to the airport of Cusco.
