7 Lakes Ausangate trek Full day

We start the 7 lakes tour with the pick up from your hotel at 4:30 in the morning. Then transfer to the south of Cusco, passing the towns of Urcos, Ccatca, Ocongate and Tinki, a journey of 3 hours with final destination in Pacchanta (4200 meters above sea level), once in Pacchanta we can recharge our batteries with a healthy breakfast.

After breakfast we will get ready to start our hike to the circuit of the 7 lakes of Ausangate, the hike will last approximately 5 hours that will take us through the different lakes such as Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha and Q’omercocha.

On the way we can also appreciate the snow-capped mountains that surround this scenic circuit among them is the most important, the Imposing Ausangate (6834 m.), the Mariposa (5842 m.), the Jampa (5500 m.), the Pucapunta (5740 m.), the Caracol (5625 m.), the Tinke (5300 m.) and the entire mountain range of Qayangate.

After our hike we will finish the trek to the 7 lakes in Pacchanta, where a delicious lunch awaits us, to recover energy, before lunch we can enjoy a refreshing bath in the thermal medicinal baths of Pacchanta where we can relax our muscles tired.

After lunch, we will get ready to take our bus back to the city of Cusco, leaving the imposing Nevado Ausangate in sight.
