Ausangate trek to Rainbow Mountain 4 days

We start with pick up from your hotel very early at 5:30 a.m., then we head towards the south of Cusco by the road that leads to Puerto Maldonado, passing the towns of Urcos, Ocongate and then to the city of Tinki, where we can start the Ausangate Trek 4 days.

We will meet with our trekking team, and after breakfast we will start our first journey to the town of Upis, where we can enjoy its hot springs, where you can take a refreshing bath and relax the muscles.
We will have our first lunch prepared by our chef, and we will set up our first camp, where we will spend the night.

Very early to get up, we will have our second breakfast in our camp, and then we will start our second day of trekking through Ausangate Trek 4 days with Vinicunca Mountain. It will be a quite demanding trek until we reach the Arapa Pass (4950 m), after a short rest we will descend to the place where we can have lunch.

After recovering our energies we will continue our hike towards the Pucacocha Lagoon with a turquoise color, here we can install our second camp, and rest on the beach of the lagoon, dinner and night with hot drink.

At dawn we will wake up with a hot drink, then we will have our healthy breakfast, we will start our 3rd day of Ausangate trekking with a strong ascent to the Pucacocha Pass (5100 m), from here we will have amazing views of the entire valley, surrounded by mountains and snow-capped peaks. After a steep ascent hike and a short rest we will continue our descent through a valley where we will see alpacas and llamas grazing, until we reach our lunch spot to recharge our batteries.

Continuing our hike we will head towards the community of Ananta, where we can install our third camp, here we can enjoy tea time and in the evening a nice dinner, and then spend the night with a night full of stars.

After starting our trek Ausangate Trek to Rainbow Mountain 4 days, today we will arrive to our long awaited destination Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain. Very early 5:00 a.m. we will wake up to start the great hike and enjoy the Colored Mountain, where we can take the best pictures in Vinicunca. After breakfast, we will enjoy another natural spectacle that will astonish us The Red Valley, which is composed of small hills of earth color red and green.

After enjoying the great natural spectacle of the Rainbow Mountain and the Red Valley, we will have the road to the community of Quesuno, where we can have lunch and pack our equipment, and give the last goodbye to our team that accompanied us for 4 days in Ausangate, we will take our mobility to the city of Cusco, transferring you to your hotel in Cusco.
