Cusco Andean tour 6 days

Upon your arrival in Cusco, our staff will be waiting for you to meet you at the Cusco airport and transfer you to your selected hotel.

In the afternoon we will take a traditional tour of the city of Cusco, visiting the main tourist attractions such as the Cathedral of Cusco, the stone of the 12 angles, the temple of the Company, the market of San Pedro, the arch of Santa Clara and the temple of San Francisco, a quiet tour where we will learn about the most important events of the ancient Inca empire.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is one of the main tourist attractions of Cusco, for this tour we will pick you up at your hotel at 7:30 am and then take our private transportation with our professional guide and start our trip.

We will make our first stop at the textile center of Ahuanacancha, where we can learn about the production process of Andean textiles, continuing our tour we will go to the viewpoint of Taray, from where we will appreciate the beautiful sacred valley.

Continuing to the archaeological center of Pisaq located on the slopes of the hill of the same name, we will have a guided tour of one hour, where our guide will tell us the history and culture of this great town, after the visit we will return to the town of Pisaq to continue the journey to Urubamba, where a delicious lunch awaits us.

After lunch we will continue the trip to Ollantaytambo where we can visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo for about 40 minutes, after the visit we will transfer to the train station to board the train to Machu Picchu town.

After a 2 hour drive to Machu Picchu Pueblo, the transfer will be waiting to take us to the hotel where our guide will be waiting to give us the indications for our great visit to Machu Picchu.

After breakfast, at the time indicated by our guide, we will take the bus to the citadel of
Machu Picchu by the road known as Hiram Bingham, a 40-minute trip on a zigzagging road.

Upon arrival at the entrance gate, we will present ourselves to register our entrance and start a great tour that will take us through beautiful stone paths to the highest part of the park.
From the viewpoint of the Guardian’s house we will be able to see the whole magnificent citadel next to the Huayunapicchu, after appreciating the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu we will begin the descent to the lower part of Machu Picchu, where we will find the urban part, ceremonial centers, the Intihuatana, the Condor’s house, among other attractions of Machu Picchu.

At the end of the visit we will return to the entrance gate from where we will take the bus back to Machu Picchu town, where we can take advantage of the time to have lunch and wait for the departure time of the train that will take us back to Ollantaytambo, in Ollantaytambo we will board our bus back to Cusco,

The schedules are subject to the date of reservation, since the entrance to Machu Picchu is subject to the schedules, we recommend booking in advance.

At 7:30 am we will start our tour by picking you up from your hotel and transferring you to the road that takes us to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. At 54 km from Cusco is located the community of Misminay where we can participate in the daily activities of the community, such as plowing the land, harvesting and observe the process of spinning and weaving.

Here we will be able to choose between the activities of Textiles, Adobe, and agriculture, each activity lasts approx. 45 minutes, after an experiential tourism in Misminay, we will make a walk to the viewpoint of Moray, where we can appreciate a beautiful view of the terraces that were used as agricultural terraces.

Continuing on, we will be able to visit the Mirador of the salt mines or Salineras where we will appreciate an ancestral technique of salt production.

At the end of the tour we will return to Cusco.

The tour starts at 4:30 am approx. with the pick up from your hotel, and then take our private transportation to the southeast of Cusco, we will travel for 2 hours to reach Cusipata, from here we will take a detour through an unpaved road, until we reach our restaurant where we can take our Cusco breakfast.

We will continue our trip to Pampachiri, place where our transportation arrives, from here we will start our hike to the Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, we will hike for an hour and 20
minutes until we reach the top of the mountain 5200 masl (optional to rent horses).

Arriving at the top we will enjoy an impressive view of the colorful Vinicunca Mountain surrounded by mountains, snow-capped peaks and the inter-Andean valleys of the place. After the visit we will walk back to Pampachiri enjoying the fauna and flora of the area such as llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and with luck we will be able to appreciate the Andean condor.

Once in our vehicle we will return to the restaurant where our cook will make us wait for a delicious lunch to comfort us and return to the city of Cusco, arrival approx. 5:00 pm.

We finish our visit of Cusco Andean after enjoying the best attractions of the city of Cusco, after breakfast our collaborator will pass by your hotel 2 hours before the departure of your flight to take you to the airport of Cusco.
