Tour Maras Moray
The terraces of Moray are located 50 minutes northeast of Cusco. The terraces of Moray are gigantic circles whose formation is unknown.
The Incas knew how to take advantage of these gigantic cracks to turn them into circular terraces that became an agricultural laboratory, inside the largest hole there are 16 terraces which each one has a different microclimate.
Within this visit we can also visit the salt mines of Maras, which since colonial times and currently salt is produced.

Itinerary
Day: 01 Itinerary Maras Moray Salt Mines
At 8:30 am, we will be passing by your hotel to pick you up and board our transportation to the town of Chinchero, where we can visit for approx. 40 minutes the archaeological center of Chinchero and its handicraft market.
Continuing we will travel for about 30 minutes to Maras, to reach the platforms of Moray, which we will visit for about 40 minutes, surrounding the archaeological center accompanied by our tour guide.
After the visit we will return to the picturesque town of Maras, one of the oldest surviving colonial buildings, then we will visit the Salt Mines, which we can appreciate small holes of approx. 3m2 each where salt water rests to be transformed into salt.
At the end of our visit we will continue our trip back to the city of Cusco, arrival approx. 3:00 pm.
